Department Information:-The department of music is one of its kind a premier department in marathwada region. Department of music started on 29 th June 1976 for under graduate classes. Juniper college was attached to department in 1977 and post graduate department started from1982. It is worth mentioning that department of music is one of its kind a premier department in the marathwada region. The department has its own reputation in the field of music and students rush to take admission in the Department of music. Several students after passing this post graduation are working as lecturers, teachers etc. and many students are working in the field performing arts i.e.classical vocalist, music composer , folk singer, semi classical singer, recordist etc.for the students department of music organised every year “Gandharwa sangeet mahotsav”. Every month students participated stage programs and masik sabha.
